Version 2.0 · Last updated 1 August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on alexandersuitesparos.com, the choices available to you, and the current technical behaviour of Google Consent Mode. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can support functions you request, such as remembering your language, preserving a booking session and recording your consent choice. With permission, they can also support audience measurement. Similar technologies and server requests may communicate technical information without placing a cookie on your device.
2. Who is responsible and how to contact us
The controller identity and data-protection contact are set out in the Privacy Policy. Cookie questions or requests can be sent to info@alexandersuitesparos.com or made by telephone at +30 22840 45729 or +30 694 010 7137.
3. Your choices
Necessary cookies are active because they support a service or preference you request. Analytics is off unless you select “Analytics” or “Accept all”. The consent panel also contains a Marketing category; no marketing provider or marketing cookie was observed in the verified inventory dated 1 August 2026. If marketing technology is introduced, this Policy and the consent panel must be updated before it is enabled.
You can accept all optional categories, reject all optional categories, or manage categories separately. You can reopen “Cookie settings” at any time from the persistent control displayed on the website.
4. Google Consent Mode and pre-consent communication
The site currently uses Google Consent Mode in its advanced configuration. Before you consent, the signals analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied. Google tags may nevertheless load and send limited “cookieless” pings to Google while consent is denied.
These pre-consent pings do not use Google Analytics cookies. They are still network communications and may include technical information inherent in the request, such as a timestamp, browser user-agent, referrer, consent state, a random number generated on page load, consent-platform information and an indication that an advertising-click parameter was present in a URL. Google states that such pings can contribute to modelled measurement. If you grant Analytics consent, the Google Analytics tag can set and use the analytics cookies listed below and send fuller measurement data.
5. Verified cookie inventory
The following inventory was verified on 1 August 2026. Expiry times are approximate because browsers calculate them from the time a cookie is created or renewed.

6. Legal basis, recipients and transfers
Necessary storage is used only for functions or preferences requested by the visitor. Analytics cookies are based on consent. Google may receive data through the Google Analytics and Consent Mode services, including the limited pre-consent communications described in section 4. Information about recipients, legal bases, retention and international-transfer safeguards is provided in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changing or withdrawing consent
Use “Cookie settings” to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing Analytics consent updates the consent signals to prevent further reading or writing of analytics cookies while the choice remains denied. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.
When Analytics is switched off, the website also expires existing _ga and _ga_* cookies for this host and its parent domain. The website does not deliberately recreate those cookies while Analytics consent remains denied. If your browser still displays an analytics cookie after withdrawal and a reload, you can delete it through the browser controls described below and contact us so that we can investigate.
8. Browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting all site data may also remove your language, consent and active booking-session choices. Browser controls operate separately from the website’s “Cookie settings” control.
9. Changes to this inventory
We review the inventory when website, booking, analytics or marketing technology changes. A new non-essential purpose or provider must not be enabled until the information and consent choices have been updated. The version and review date at the top identify the current draft.
10. Questions and complaints
Contact us using the details in section 2 if you have a question or want to exercise a data-protection right. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.
